ANTM and ME!

I've been watching America's Next Top Model for 18 seasons so you can imagine how happy I was to be able to work on Season 19 as a Hair & Makeup Artist! Woo Hoo!!!

The first banner is from Photo Shoot #6, Grunge-Party-Girl, I was on the makeup team with Key Artist: Emily Moses of Opus Beauty and Makeup Artist, Kat Laskey. We had a blast splattering glitter and finger painting their faces.

The second banner is from Photo Shoot #1, Taxidermy inspired head shots and I was fortunate enough to be on the hair team with Key Stylist, Frankie Payne of Opus Beauty and Stylists, Anthony Pazos and Marie Kazadi. We had the best of times!!!

Be sure to go to ANTM's Facebook fan page to vote each week for your favorite and obviously tune in this fall for the season premier of ANTM!!! Their also doing a webisode for a look at the behind the scenes of each photo shoot... so you'll be seeing yours truly on the show as well!! #excited

Pocahontas Inspired...

Every Makeup Artist is in love with color, and when artists are given the creative freedom to play with all the vibrant hues we can dream of... well, we're in Makeup Heaven. Here is a sneak peek of the Fashion and Beauty Editorial I did for Disfunkshion Magazine.

Models: Michaela Rabinov (below as our Indian Girl) and Briana Acosta, both from Premier Models and Talent. Key Hair & Makeup: Jessica Hoffman. Assistant Hair & Makeup: Rhiannon Mariani. Stylist & Photography: Hugette Montesinos.

For Disfunkshion Magazine on location at Sandy's Beach, Hawaii.

What? You think we'd give it all away?! You'll have to wait for the magazine to come out to see all the colors I used- turquoise, orange, purple, red, yellow and neon hot pink. It was ravishing, if I do say so myself.

Until then... here's a lil something I 'colored' on our other model, Briana Acosta after we wrapped. Before we took all her makeup off, I asked her if I could add some red... here it is!

I used MAKE UP FOR EVER flash pigment.

URGENT: Vote for my Cavalli Inspired Makeup Tutorial

If you would like to support me and help make my dreams come true... then feel free to watch this video and vote on youtube.com by clicking LIKE LIKE LIKE!!!

Love ya! Enjoy!

This is my submission for the NYX Cosmetics FACE Awards competition! I often attend Fashion Week and as I was browsing through all the beautiful images of the makeup backstage, I fell in love with the Roberto Cavalli look and thought- YES- this is the look I'll recreate for NYX!

Of course I had to change it a bit to make it my own, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I hope you enjoy it too and pick up a few ideas!

Thank you to my beautiful model, Eva Avery! I just love doing makeup on her pretty face.

Supermodel Lily Donaldson rocked this look on the Cavalli runway, and because she has such large, deep set eyes... it looked genius on her. I would love to create a look like this for Lady Gaga... you know, something fresh and feminine but colorful- in a water color sort of way. This look is romantic and bold all at the same time.

More videos and tutorials to come. I have definitely caught the beauty vlogger bug :-)

Brad Pitt, Kevin Bacon, George Clooney... you know, the usual.

This was an EPIC night. I had the honor of working with celebrity Makeup Artist, Sharon Gault and Celebrity Hair Stylist, Sean James, both artists represented by Opus Beauty and together our team made the beautiful even more beautiful... Our clients: Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Martin Sheen and some of the cast from Glee... to name a few!

I'm all set up and ready to work!
Products I used: Makeup Forever Anti-Shine, All Matte as a base. On the men, Select Cover Up by MAC, and Makeup Forever Very Matte Powders. On the women who weren't on stage, I gave them a more dewy finish and used Makeup Forever HD foundation with Laura Mercier Radiance Tinted Moisturizer as a base.

What a perfect shot of the evening! Sean James working on Brad Pitt, I was so excited to assist him with Mr. Pitt! Martin Sheen finishing up and Matthew Morrison getting powdered.

Me and Key Hair Stylist, Sean James working on one of the producers of the event. She loved it!!

Our Team, with our client list above!

Backstage with Pitt and Clooney... tough day in the office! The Makeup and Hair team were backstage ready to touch up the cast before they headed to the red carpet!

And of course, I had to hit the red carpet as well! This was, in fact, my first red carpet as a brunette!

I did hair for Matthew Morrison from Glee and the beautiful Sally, did his makeup. #teamwork

And for the after party, we had the best view of the night! Mr. George Clooney, looking as debonair as ever.

And to finish the night off, Sally and I took a sassy lil picture with the sweetie pie from Glee, Darren!

I had the honor of working with and touching up...

Kevin Bacon
Matthew Morrison (Glee)
Jane Lynch (Glee)
Chris Colfer (Glee)
Yeardley Smith (Voice of Lisa Simpson)
Campbell Brown
James Pickens, Jr. (Grey's Anatomy)
Bridger Zadina
And assisted Key Hair Stylist with Brad Pitt

My first Co-Starring Role on Hawaii 5-0!

Check out the link below to see me and my Co-Star, Shane Victorino on set of Hawaii 5-0!

It was a THRILL to book my first co-star role on a national television show and have it be on Hawaii 5-0! What a perfect combo- I really did have the time of my life!!! What an amazing episode to be on, not only did I share a scene with Phillies Star Player, Shane Victorino (who invited me to a game!) but Apollo Ohno was on the episode too! (Not to mention it was sweeps season and it aired on President's Day)

I loved being pampered in the Makeup + Hair Trailer. My friend, Laura Augon did my makeup and she did a beautiful job. Being that I played a 'high-maintenance hiker' it was appropriate for me to have my 'face' on. Laura also made sure that I (as a fellow makeup artist) loved my makeup. It was the perfect artist to work with me on my episode. She used a Revlon light reflective moisturizer to prep my skin, Armani foundation, DuWop Cream Blush (applied with a foundation brush) and some other stuff- ya know, a little soft eyeliner, strong yet natural lashes, and a pink lip gloss. She of course was there at every turn, ensuring I looked put together as I wondered through the jungle.

Take a peek at all the wonderful moments we shared behind the scenes.

Shane Victorino played my team leader, and my character, Chelsea, was giving him attitude - which you can tell by my body language!

After I walk away from the team, I find myself lost in the jungle...

That's when I encounter a scary looking Warrior... (dum, dum, duuuum....)

Then off to my own trailer to relax and enjoy the ride!

My Co-Star, Shane Victorino gave me a sweet lil gift :-) (Quoting our lines!)

Shows not over yet... an ADR (Additional Dialogue Recording) session to finish all the final details of the show!

If you haven't watched the episode yet, go to www.CBS.com and check it out!

Love, 'Chelsea'
