Dramatic Before and After Makeover!

Pulled out my magic wands for Becky's dramatic makeover on the new Tyra Bank's show! The FAB, which stands for Fun And Beautiful, just got picked up by ABC and will air Fall of 2015. As a Makeup Artist, you have to understand lighting; know how to work it and know how to use it for your benefit. Illuminating moisturizers, light reflecting foundations and concealers are a must! I'll post my favorite skin perfecters after you take a peek at these before and after pics!

Start with an Illuminating Moisturizer- this is my fave!

And this is a gorgeous foundation! I apply it with a damp beauty blender. So smooth and radiant!

An exceptional concealer for under eyes, when applied sparingly and patted in with your fingertip, this doesn't crease, and the formula reflects the light off the problem area (those dark circles!)

DermaColor Concealer Palette is a must for every Makeup Artist- this little guy is a problem solver, and really helped me give Becky a beautiful makeover!

It warms my heart to be able to pamper and beautify someone like Becky- such a hard working Mom and Grandma- someone who never uses her time and energy on herself, but in making others comfortable. She loved her makeover! And Tyra and Joe Zee did too!

I love my job- I make other women feel more beautiful- and that's a gorgeous feeling!

My Vh1 Beauty Segment: Trick or Treatment

Talk about a dream come true! Check me out doing my thing on Vh1 with my girl Carrie Keagan and my beautiful sisters as my models: Rebecca Pate and Maria Blaich!

How to look bright eyed...
My Wakeup Makeup Trick is to use an Inner Rim Brightener by Tarte Cosmetics to line the inner rim of the lower lash! The Treatment I recommend is the anti-puff roller ball eye cream by Garnier to de-puff and hydrate!

How to get a radiant complexion...
My favorite Trick is to use a gel highlighter by Becca Cosmetics- my absolute favorite! The Treatment: a Pumpkin Facial you can make at home!

How to achieve Va-Va-Voom Hair...
The Trick: A high powered texturizing spray by Oribe called Dry Texturizing Spray and the Treatment: Schwarzkopf's Blonde Me Intense Treatment.

Watch the clip to get more details on each Trick or Treatment!

Thank you Vh1 Big Morning Buzz Live for this incredible opportunity! I just love being able to share my passion for beauty and makeup with the world. I especially love being able to add an inner beauty tip into my segment, because that's why I do what I do: to inspire genuine beauty, starting within the heart of a woman.

Enjoy the segment and of course, feel free to pass this along to all the makeup mavens in your life!

Here are some pictures from set!

I'd love to hear from ya!
Love & Blessings, Jessica

Kevyn Aucoin, His Legacy lives on...

Using Creamy Glow in Pravella on Carrie Keagan of VH1

If you're a makeup artist or just always dreamed of being one, chances are you have one (or ALL!) of his genius makeup books... but do you have his beauty products? If the answer is no, you should take a field trip to your local Sephora or select department stores and change that. Seriously, I'm loving the Celestial Bronzing Veil in Tropical Days and Nights, The Creamy Glow in Pravella (but all colors are worth getting!) and of course the Sensual Concealer... yes, even foundation can be sexy!

Thank you Kevyn Aucoin for being an inspirational artist and for being brave enough to chase your dreams and pave the way for other artists in pursuit of their bliss. His legacy and exquisite work live on as his beauty brand continues to inspire and equip makeup mavens around the world.

Thank you to Kaci and Viviana at Kevyn Aucoin Beauty for such a generous gift! I am now a forever fan... the products are luxurious, great pigment & staying power... not to mention my favorite color is red, so I'm in love with the luxe packaging!

Big Morning Buzz Live's, Carrie Keagan, is ready for her close up with Celestial Bronzing Veil in Tropical Days.

ANTM and ME!

I've been watching America's Next Top Model for 18 seasons so you can imagine how happy I was to be able to work on Season 19 as a Hair & Makeup Artist! Woo Hoo!!!

The first banner is from Photo Shoot #6, Grunge-Party-Girl, I was on the makeup team with Key Artist: Emily Moses of Opus Beauty and Makeup Artist, Kat Laskey. We had a blast splattering glitter and finger painting their faces.

The second banner is from Photo Shoot #1, Taxidermy inspired head shots and I was fortunate enough to be on the hair team with Key Stylist, Frankie Payne of Opus Beauty and Stylists, Anthony Pazos and Marie Kazadi. We had the best of times!!!

Be sure to go to ANTM's Facebook fan page to vote each week for your favorite and obviously tune in this fall for the season premier of ANTM!!! Their also doing a webisode for a look at the behind the scenes of each photo shoot... so you'll be seeing yours truly on the show as well!! #excited

Pocahontas Inspired...

Every Makeup Artist is in love with color, and when artists are given the creative freedom to play with all the vibrant hues we can dream of... well, we're in Makeup Heaven. Here is a sneak peek of the Fashion and Beauty Editorial I did for Disfunkshion Magazine.

Models: Michaela Rabinov (below as our Indian Girl) and Briana Acosta, both from Premier Models and Talent. Key Hair & Makeup: Jessica Hoffman. Assistant Hair & Makeup: Rhiannon Mariani. Stylist & Photography: Hugette Montesinos.

For Disfunkshion Magazine on location at Sandy's Beach, Hawaii.

What? You think we'd give it all away?! You'll have to wait for the magazine to come out to see all the colors I used- turquoise, orange, purple, red, yellow and neon hot pink. It was ravishing, if I do say so myself.

Until then... here's a lil something I 'colored' on our other model, Briana Acosta after we wrapped. Before we took all her makeup off, I asked her if I could add some red... here it is!

I used MAKE UP FOR EVER flash pigment.

URGENT: Vote for my Cavalli Inspired Makeup Tutorial

If you would like to support me and help make my dreams come true... then feel free to watch this video and vote on youtube.com by clicking LIKE LIKE LIKE!!!

Love ya! Enjoy!

This is my submission for the NYX Cosmetics FACE Awards competition! I often attend Fashion Week and as I was browsing through all the beautiful images of the makeup backstage, I fell in love with the Roberto Cavalli look and thought- YES- this is the look I'll recreate for NYX!

Of course I had to change it a bit to make it my own, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I hope you enjoy it too and pick up a few ideas!

Thank you to my beautiful model, Eva Avery! I just love doing makeup on her pretty face.

Supermodel Lily Donaldson rocked this look on the Cavalli runway, and because she has such large, deep set eyes... it looked genius on her. I would love to create a look like this for Lady Gaga... you know, something fresh and feminine but colorful- in a water color sort of way. This look is romantic and bold all at the same time.

More videos and tutorials to come. I have definitely caught the beauty vlogger bug :-)
